Central Missouri Chapter Hosts Young Driver Presentations

On Wednesday, March 18 and Thursday, March 19, the Central Missouri Chapter hosted young driver presentations in connection with Columbia Public Schools - Reality Week. The presentations were offered at Rock Bridge High School and Hickman High School, and focused on the dangers of distracted and impaired driving.

Over 165 attendees received valuable information and giveaways from area Culvers, Subway and McDonalds restaurants.

Samuel Bennett, Independent Insurance Professional and Instructor for the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research talked about the quickly expanding use of drone technology in everything from farmers checking on their crops and livestock to improved weather forecasting, to even the use of solar powered drones to provide global internet access.

For the tenth consequtive year, the Central Missouri CPCU Society Chapter will host a Young Driver Safety Presentation. This year, the Chapter is proud to offer two presentations, giving young drivers and their parents greater opportunity to see this valuable information.

This information is provided through a joint effort between the Columbia Public Schools – Reality Week, MoDOT, Columbia Police Department, Think First Missouri, and the Central Missouri CPCU Society Chapter.
