Don Lang, CPCU and retired employee of Shelter Insurance, received the 2014 CPCU of the Year Award for significant contributions to the Chapter.
Chapter President Jon Erickson presented our CPCU of the Year Award to Don Lang, who led the Young Driver Program for 10 years. The Young Driver Program provides young drivers, and those soon to be licensed, an opportunity to learn about the importance of seatbelt usage, the dangers of impaired driving, and Missouri driver's license requirements. This program was attended by hundreds of young drivers over the years, and the awareness raised to these individuals has had an immeasurable impact in our community.
Don shared experiences throughout the years and the evolution of the program, and thanked everyone for their enthusiastic assistance with this worthwhile effort.
