The 37th I-Day was held Thursday, September 8th at the Reynolds Alumni Center. This year's theme was"Coming Attractions" and featured presentations on Emerging Issues in the Insurance Industry - a panel including Missouri Insurance Director, John M. Huff (see related article), Automotive Technolgy and Highway Safety, Ethics, the Evolution of Portable Electronics Insurance (PEI), Trends in P&C Insurance, and Strengths-Based Leadership.
The day also included conferment of New Designees by Aaron Lunt (CPCU Society Leadership Council) and Dennis Holler (our CPCU Area Governor). It was one of the largest new CPCU Designee groups in our Chapter's history. Designees will be officially sworn in at the 2016 CPCU Society Annual Meeting, September 17-20 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The I-Day Committee would like to thank presenters, sponsors, and all of the volunteers who made this year's I-Day a huge success. We received a lot of positive feedback and know it wouldn't have been possible without the tremendous efforts of all involved.
