Current State of Media in the Insurance Industry
At our March meeting Matt Greer, Public Affairs Director at State Farm Insurance provided a very interesting presentation on how media - and the insurance industry's relationship with media - has changed since the 1990s. In the 90s, we looked primarily to newsprint and TV or radio news reports for information about the insurance industry.

Spoiler Alert! I-Day Speaker Announced...
The I-Day Committee needs input from our Chapter members. During the 2016 I-Day, we will be hosting a panel discussion made up of several Department of Insurance Commissioners. A few of the state commissioners that may be present include those from Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, and Mississippi. This panel will provide us with good information regarding the current topics facing each state as well as insight to emerging industry issues. We would like to know the topics of concern of our Chapter members.

Central Missouri CPCU Society Chapter Hosts Young Driver Presentations
On Monday March 21st, the Central Missouri Chapter hosted over 100 high school students and family members for safe driver presentations at Rock Bridge and Hickman High Schools.
The presentations provided young drivers, and soon-to-be drivers, valuable information on the dangers of distracted and impaired driving.
