Phyllis Steckel from Earthquake Insights, LLC presents to Central Missouri CPCU Society Chapter on Earthquake (and Fracking) Hazards in the Central U.S.
Phyllis Steckel, registered geologist in Missouri, presented information to the Central MO CPCU Society Chapter on earthquakes in the central U.S. She talked on the increased frequency and severity of earthquakes and gave the latest updates on the fracking issue, those both scientific and man-made. She talked with the group on the recent earthquakes and those that are attributed to fracking in north-central Oklahoma, south-central Kansas and in some Texas urban areas.
Her presentation was very well received by approximately 70 attendees, which included several candidates for a luncheon on October 13 at Shelter Insurance.
