On Tuesday, August 26th, 2014 over 100 Insurance Professionals met for the 35th Annual Central Missouri I-Day at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Columbia. The program included ‘The Business of Fraud’ presented by Tom Welsh of NICB; ‘A Question of Ethics’ presented by Nicole Broch, of Troxell/Heartland Credit Union; ‘Cyber Risks with Insurance Solutions’ presented by Mindy Pollack, JD and Vice-President of Gen Re; an ‘Insurance Update’ from Missouri Department of Insurance Director, John M. Huff; Cindy Baroway, President of the CPCU Society presented ‘What CPCU Means to Me’ and acknowledged the 2013 CPCU Designees; and ‘Your Weather Advisory’ was presented by Jessica Quick, Meteorologist for KMIZ News. The Central Missouri CPCU Society Chapter and the Insurance Professionals of Mid-Missouri hosted the event.
