The Central Missouri Chapter of the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) Society is pleased to announce Makayla Zey as the 2016 Scholarship recipient. The topic for this year's essay was, "In today's world, everything we do is touched by social media. What are the benefits and risks of social media in the insurance industry?" Makayla's winning essay was selected from submissions from high school seniors throughout central Missouri. Makayla is the daughter of Keith and Vivian Zey (IS Department at Shelter Insurance). She attended Prairie Home High School and will attend the University of Central Missouri (Warrensburg, MO) studying Interior Design in the Fall.
