Candidate Development
Open Position
The Candidate Development committee recruits qualified candidates for pursuit of the CPCU designation. The Committee contacts and provides support for those having completed portions of the CPCU coursework and encourages those who have temporarily interrupted their study to re-enroll.
Education
Open Position
Promotes an active Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program, develops mentoring relationships between Chapter members and CPCU candidates, and assists with distribution of scholarship funds.
New Designee
Dena Kartheiser
Makes personal contact with new designees on behalf of the Chapter. Encourages involvement with the chapter, and attendance of monthly Chapter meetings.
Good Works and Networking
Open Position(s)
Plans and coordinates a variety of networking service events to support charities throughout our community.
I-Day
Kelly Hanes, Steve Wahle and Brian Jackson
I-DAY is proclaimed each year to recognize persons who have completed the requirements necessary to attain the CPCU designation, and as a forum to discuss insurance topics of current interest. Participation and attendance is open to anyone.
Program
Kelly Hayes and Margo Ma
Plans and arranges locations and menus for the various Chapter monthly meetings from September through May. Provides a variety of speakers and programs for the Chapter.
Spread-the-Word and Visibility
Open Position
Encourages local CPCU's to promote the value of the CPCU designation to employers, businesses, consumers and the general community. Promotes awareness of the Central Missouri Chapter of CPCU through periodic advertisements and business related articles of accomplishments and events the Chapter has achieved. Advertising can include congratulations to new designees, safety issues during holidays or fire prevention months and miscellaneous advertising as needed.

Maintains contact with Active members, re-establishes contact with lapsed members, and conducts annual membership survey.

Maintains the Central Missouri Chapter’s website with current and relevant information.
Young Driver Program

Promotes roadway safety for teens and parents through a program presented in conjunction with local safety and law personnel.
