On March 23, 2017, the Central Missouri Chapter presented valuable information on the dangers of distracted and impaired driving to Rock Bridge High School students.
The presentations focused on the importance of seatbelt usage, responsible driving behavior, Missouri's Graduated Driver License Law, and a personal story about the dangers of impaired driving.
The information was provided in part of Columbia Public Schools - Reality Week, and featured guest speakers Trent Brooks the Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety, Matt Bronson of Shelter Insurance, and Keller Colley of ThinkFirst Missouri. More than 80 young drivers and soon-to-be drivers were in attendance.
